Nick Wagner

 

 

Nick joined the firm as a law clerk in 2026. After graduating law school, he clerked on the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in Columbus, OH, for the Honorable Rachel S. Bloomekatz. 

Nick is a graduate of NYU Law School, where he was awarded the Arthur T. Vanderbilt Scholarship. At the end of his second year at NYU, he was also named the Harriet Pilpel / Planned Parenthood Fellow as part of the Arthur Garfield Hays Civil Liberties program. As a Hays Fellow, he completed semester-long internships with the Center for Reproductive Rights' State Policy Team and the Legal Aid Society's Special Litigation Unit. While in law school, he also worked closely with the Jailhouse Lawyers Initiative to develop curriculum for and build relationships with hundreds of jailhouse lawyers across the country, worked for impact litigation groups as part of the Reproductive Justice Clinic, volunteered at Rikers Island to teach legal empowerment to detainees, and interned for the MacArthur Justice Center Supreme Court & Appellate Program and the Bernstein Institute for Human Rights.

Nick graduated summa cum laude from the Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Sociology. Before attending law school, he completed a year of service with AmeriCorps teaching struggling kindergarteners how to read in a local Columbus, OH, school.

Nick is working under the supervision of attorneys licensed to practice in the District of Columbia while his applications for admission to New York and the District of Columbia are pending.
